Stewardship over extraction. Most of every dollar goes to making and circulating books and to the people who do that work. Fiscal-sponsorship funds are pass-through to sponsored projects (minus our 8% fee) and are tracked separately from this operating budget. We aim to build a reserve equal to at least 10% of annual operating expenses.
